Terms & Conditions

Pawsome Purrfect Mobile Dog Grooming

By booking an appointment with Pawsome Purrfect, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

🐾 Matted Coat Policy

  • Severely matted coats can cause significant discomfort and health issues.

  • If your pet’s coat is excessively tangled, we may perform a full shave-down in the most humane and pain-free manner possible.

  • De-matting requires additional time and care. A surcharge of $30 per 30 minutes will apply.

  • We always prioritise your pet’s comfort and will never continue grooming if it causes distress.

🪳 Flea, Lice & Tick Policy

  • If fleas, lice, or ticks are detected during the grooming session, a specialised flea bath will be administered.

  • A mandatory $30 fumigation fee will be charged to sanitise the van and equipment.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring their pets are regularly treated for parasites to prevent contamination.

🚽 Toileting

  •  Please ensure your pet has relieved themselves before the appointment to help maintain a clean and calm grooming environment.

💉 Vaccination Policy

  • We strongly recommend that all pets are up-to-date with their vaccinations.

  • Puppies under 6 months must provide proof of full puppy vaccinations prior to their first appointment.

  • Owners who choose not to vaccinate do so at their own risk. Pawsome Purrfect will not be held liable for any preventable illness.

  • We reserve the right to decline service if your pet appears unwell.

💤 Sedation Policy

  •  We do not groom dogs that are under sedation. Sedated pets pose a safety risk to themselves and our groomers.

🤰 Pregnant & Nursing Dogs

  • We are unable to groom pregnant dogs or nursing mothers. Please wait until puppies have been weaned before scheduling an appointment.

🐶 Elderly Dogs

  • We welcome senior dogs with open arms, but grooming is performed at the owner’s risk.

  • Should the groom need to be stopped for the animal’s wellbeing, the full grooming fee will still apply.

⚠️ Behavioural & Aggression Policy

  • Please inform us in advance if your dog has any history of aggression, fear, or stress-related behaviours.

  • For safety reasons, we may use a muzzle if necessary.

  • If your pet displays aggressive or severely stressed behaviour not previously disclosed, we may stop the groom and the full fee will still apply.

  • We do not use force to complete a groom and will always prioritise your pet’s mental and physical wellbeing.

 

🩺 Health Conditions & Findings

  • While grooming, we may notice health concerns such as skin irritation, lumps, or parasites.

  • We cannot diagnose, but we will notify you if veterinary advice is recommended.

📸 Photography & Media

  • We take before-and-after photos of grooms for client records and potential marketing use.

  • If you do not wish for your pet’s image to appear on social media or promotional materials, please notify us in advance.

 

📋 Pet Information

  • Please provide accurate and up-to-date information about your dog’s health, allergies, or behavioural issues before the appointment.

  • This helps us deliver the safest and most comfortable grooming experience possible.

💳 Payment Terms

  • Payment is due immediately upon completion of the grooming service.

  • We accept Eftpos, cash and bank transfers.

  • Any quote provided before the appointment is an estimate. Final charges may vary based on coat condition, temperament, and time required.

 

✂️ Styling Requests & Adjustments

  • We do our best to groom according to your preferences, within the limits of your dog’s coat condition and tolerance.

  • If your desired style is not achievable, we will communicate with you to find a suitable alternative.

  • Minor post-groom adjustments can be requested at the end of the appointment—just ask!

🚐 Parking & Power Access

  • Please ensure there is a safe, flat parking space available near your property with a minimum height clearance of 3 metres and easy access for our mobile salon.

  • While our van is fully equipped with its own power supply, we are happy to connect to your electricity if preferred.

  • If you provide access to a standard household power outlet within 10 metres of the van, we will deduct $5 from your total grooming bill as a thank-you for helping us save on generator use.

📅 Cancellations & Missed Appointments

  • Cancellations with more than 48 hours’ notice are free of charge.

  • Cancellations between 24–48 hours will incur a 50% fee.

  • Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or no-shows, will be charged the full grooming fee.

  • Future bookings will not be confirmed until outstanding fees are paid.

🌳 Height Clearance

  • Our grooming van requires a minimum clearance of 3 metres.

  • Please ensure there are no low branches or obstacles, and notify us in advance if clearance is an issue so we can make alternative arrangements.
