Kia Ora Whanau, I’m Dhruva — the heart, hands, and soul behind Pawsome Purrfect.

​Animals have always been my true north. Long before I held a pair of grooming shears, I was the go-to pet sitter for friends, neighbours, and clients who trusted me to care for everything from timid rescue cats to high-spirited retrievers. I found peace in their presence and purpose in earning their trust.

​For years, I worked in hospitality, refining my skills in customer service, attention to detail, and emotional awareness. But I always knew hospitality was my second love. My first has always been caring for dogs and cats, drawn to their honesty, quirks, and unconditional loyalty.​

So, I took a leap and enrolled in a professional grooming program, beginning to hone a craft that felt more like a calling than a career move. From my very first grooming experience, I knew I had made the best decision of my life. I had chosen a path that felt like heaven, exactly where I belong.​

Pawsome Purrfect was born from this journey. Equal parts skill, soul, and second chances.Pawsome Purrfect is more than a grooming service; it’s a space where dogs are treated like family, where nervous pups are met with patience, and every tail wag is earned. Whether I’m detangling a matted coat or offering a calming touch to an anxious dog, I strive to make grooming a moment of care, not stress.​

As a former pet parent to two dogs and an independent cat, I understand that every animal is different. That’s why each groom is tailored, every session is unrushed, and every client furry or not, is treated with kindness and respect. ​I can’t wait to meet your furry friend.
